  • Flexible contract schedule available
Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide comprehensive care to patients in the Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit, focusing on those with acute and complex cardiac conditions
  • Monitor, assess, and respond to changes in patient status, ensuring rapid intervention and effective care
  • Manage a 1:2 nurse-to-patient ratio, allowing for focused attention and a high standard of individualized patient care
  • Collaborate closely with interdisciplinary teams to implement and coordinate treatment plans
  • Administer and titrate medications, manage advanced cardiac life support equipment, and interpret diagnostic data
  • Support patients and families with clear communication, education, and compassionate guidance throughout the care continuum
Qualifications:
  • Active RN license
  • Minimum of two years recent experience in a Cardiac or Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit
  • Proficient in critical care nursing, including emergency interventions and advanced cardiac support
  • BLS and ACLS certifications required
  • Demonstrated ability to thrive in high-acuity environments and effectively manage patient care priorities
