Description
Position Summary We are seeking an organized and dependable Inventory & Purchasing Coordinator to support our commercial cabinet manufacturing operation. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with warehouse, inventory, shipping/receiving, or purchasing experience who is looking to grow their career. The successful candidate will help ensure materials are available for production while maintaining accurate inventory records and assisting with purchasing activities. Responsibilities Receive and inspect incoming shipments for accuracy. Label and organize inventory and materials. Maintain inventory levels and stock locations. Assist with ordering materials and supplies. Process purchase orders and enter information into the computer system. Track inventory usage and notify management when materials need to be reordered. Prepare outgoing shipments and coordinate deliveries. Verify packing slips against purchase orders. Assist with invoice and billing reconciliation. Maintain accurate inventory records. Perform routine inventory counts. Keep the warehouse and inventory areas clean and organized. Work closely with production personnel to ensure materials are available when needed. Assist with other warehouse and purchasing duties as assigned. Qualifications High school diploma or GED. 1+ year of experience in one or more of the following: Inventory Shipping & Receiving Warehouse Operations Purchasing Stockroom Manufacturing Basic computer skills including Microsoft Outlook and Excel. Ability to learn inventory software and purchasing systems. Good math and organizational skills. Strong attention to detail. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Dependable with excellent attendance. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds. Preferred Qualifications Experience in manufacturing or woodworking. Experience operating a forklift (or willingness to become certified). Experience with inventory software or ERP systems. Knowledge of commercial cabinet or construction materials is a plus but not required.
