Step into a pivotal role supporting elementary students as a Speech-Language Pathologist during a maternity leave coverage this fall. This contract opportunity is available from September through the end of November, with consistent weekday hours-Monday through Friday, 7:45 a.m. to 3:45 p.m. Yourexpertise will make a real difference in the lives of young learners during a crucial part of their school year. Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders
  • Valid state licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist
  • Prior experience working with school-age children, preferably at the elementary level
  • Strong communication, organizational, and collaboration skills
  • Ability to conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and work with individualized education programs (IEPs)
Responsibilities:
  • Provide speech and language therapy to elementary students according to their IEPs
  • Conduct screenings, evaluations, and ongoing assessments as required
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and support staff to develop strategies for student success
  • Maintain accurate records, progress notes, and comply with all district documentation requirements
  • Participate in team meetings, IEP reviews, and family conferences as needed
