Job Description Job Summary: Provide patient care in an outpatient ambulatory care setting as a licensed practical nurse (LPN). Support clinical operations by assisting with patient assessments, treatments, and documentation to ensure quality care delivery. Responsibilities:
Administer medications and treatments within scope of practice and institutional policies.
Collect and label specimens accurately according to protocol.
Document patient care, observations, and interventions promptly and accurately.
Educate patients and families on procedures, discharge instructions, and Health maintenance.
Collaborate with RNs and healthcare team members to coordinate patient care plans.
Maintain a safe, clean, and stocked environment in exam rooms and treatment areas.
Qualifications:
Hold a valid NYS license as an LPN or LVN.
Possess at least 1 year of nursing experience in a clinical setting.
Current BLS certification.
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Demonstrate proficiency in medication administration, specimen collection, and documentation.
Ability to adapt to a fast-paced outpatient environment and work flexible hours.
