Description

A direct hire opportunity is available for an IV Certified Pharmacy Technician specializing in sterile compounding to support a closed-door long-term care facility in the Chicago, IL area. This position requires reliability and consistent attendance for an evening shift with a high-volume prescription load. Location: Woodridge, IL Schedule:

  • Monday through Friday, 3:00pm - 11:30pm
  • Rotating every other weekend
Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare intravenous (IV) medications using aseptic techniques to ensure sterility
  • Conduct quality assurance checks on compounded products
  • Manage and maintain medication inventory levels
  • Adhere to USP 797 standards and all relevant regulatory guidelines
  • Operate Frameworks software (training provided)
  • Handle approximately 600 prescriptions daily in a fast-paced environment
Qualifications and Experience:
  • Active and clear Illinois Pharmacy Technician license
  • Sterile compounding experience is required
  • Ability to work efficiently and accurately in a high-volume setting
  • Demonstrated reliability and excellent attendance record
