Overview Registered Nurse - CCU, travel assignment in Glenwood Springs, CO. Start date 08/11/2026 for a 13-week assignment. Weekly pay range $2,446-$2,547 per week with guaranteed 36 hours. Shift: 3x12 rotating. This position is a hospital-based travel opportunity requiring Day 0 CVICU experience and the ability to cover CCU needs as staffing requires.

Responsibilities - Deliver direct patient care for CCU and CVICU patients, including continuous hemodynamic monitoring, ventilator management, and vasoactive infusions. - Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to implement care plans and adjust orders as patient conditions evolve. - Monitor post-surgical CVICU patients and those requiring CCU-level support; identify and respond to changes in status and potential complications. - Document assessments, interventions, and patient responses in the electronic medical record with accuracy and timeliness. - Administer medications and therapies per orders, monitor for adverse effects, and uphold patient safety and comfort. - Participate in call rotations and weekend coverage per unit needs and assignment requirements.
Requirements - Active Colorado RN license in good standing - Day 0 CVICU experience with strong CVICU skills; capable of CCU coverage as needed - Minimum 3 years RN Critical Care experience - BLS, ACLS, and PALS (American Heart Association) certifications - Availability for 12-hour day shifts (0700-1930) with weekend rotation; willing to participate in on-call rotation (1 call shift per 2 weeks) if requested - CAPS credential may be required; processing may take up to two weeks; travel distance requirement: permanent address at least 75 miles away; submission should include Resume, CVICU Skills Sheet, Nursys RN License, and ensure SSN/DOB are correct in Medefis
