POSTING of VACANCY Specialized Transportation Bus Aide for 1:1 Student Falmouth High School 2026-2027 School Year AM and PM Shifts on school transportation, hours may vary 2 mornings and afternoons Qualifications:
High School Diploma.
Ability and desire to work with children with special needs.
Ability to take direction from and work under the supervision of school staff
Willing to be delegated to administer emergency medication to a student
Safety Care, CPR and first aid training preferred or willing to be trained.
Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Superintendent of Schools may find appropriate and acceptable.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Provide 1:1 care during school bus transportation
Monitor and respond to seizure-related medical needs
Responsible for administering seizure medications as prescribed by the student's physician, following the Emergency Action Plan
Collaborate with school based team to maintain continuity and quality of care
Follow an AM or PM shift or alternate on a set schedule
Maintain clear and consistent communication with bus drivers, school staff, and parents/guardians
Document any incidents, medical concerns, or medication administration in accordance with school policies and procedures
