Neurologist Veterinarian - Sugar Land, TX
A specialty and emergency veterinary hospital is seeking a Veterinary Neurologist to join its collaborative team of specialists and emergency clinicians. This opportunity offers the chance to provide advanced neurological care in a modern facility equipped with advanced diagnostic technology while working alongside experienced veterinary professionals.
Responsibilities
  • Diagnose and treat neurological conditions in companion animal patients
  • Perform neurological examinations and advanced diagnostic procedures
  • Develop and manage treatment plans for neurological disorders and related conditions
  • Utilize advanced imaging and diagnostic tools to support patient care
  • Collaborate with specialists and emergency veterinarians to ensure comprehensive treatment
  • Communicate clearly with pet owners regarding diagnoses, treatment options, and prognosis
  • Maintain accurate medical records and clinical documentation
Qualifications
  • Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD) degree from an accredited institution
  • Board-certified or board-eligible in Neurology (ACVIM or equivalent)
  • Active or eligible veterinary license
  • Strong clinical and diagnostic skills in neurology
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
  • Interest in leadership or service development is a plus
