High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three years related experience and/or training.
Assembles fabricated components to make subassemblies or assemblies for electrical or electronic systems using hand and electrical tools.
Proven experience in electronic assembly, preferably within aerospace or related industries
Strong understanding of electronic components, wiring, and soldering techniques
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and work instructions
Ability to read and understand technical drawings (blueprints).
Experience with Electro/Mechanical assemblies is a plus
Experience with wire strippers, crimping tools, and soldering
Ability to follow detailed written and verbal instructions in English.
Ability to perform repetitive assembly operations.
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
Ability to work with various small tools and parts.
Has good reading vision, color discrimination, and the ability to speak clearly.
The employee regularly lift and/or move up to 40 pounds.
