Must understand shipboard construction drawing, schematics, and operating procedures
Minimum 4 years Navy/ Coast Guard / Merchant Mariner experience in Engineering Watch Standing experience
Must be able to operate standard communication equipment
Must demonstrate knowledge of basic shipboard damage control (DC) systems and their use for different types of fires
Must be knowledgeable with Lock Out Tag out procedures
Willing to submit to a drug screen
Must be 18 years of age or older at time of application
No felony convictions of Theft/Deception or Violent crimes within seven years from disposition date
Must be able to tour all vessels and work sites
No felony convictions of Drug crimes within three years from disposition date
Willing to submit to a background check
