A High school diploma or GED.
At least 1-year or more of grooming experience with formal training certification and/or experience under an established certified groomer.
Ability to move or lift merchandise, equipment or pets weighing up to 50 pounds.
Ability to stand, bend or stoop for extended periods of time.
Ability to provide your own equipment (clippers/blades/scissors/etc.)
Flexibility in working evenings, weekends and holidays.
Candidates must pass the drug screening (in applicable states).
Be 18 years or older.

Must pass a comprehensive background check, including but not limited to; fingerprinting, child abuse clearance, and sex offender registry check, as required by BGCCA
Basic swimming proficiency and comfort in all types of water conditions
Knowledge and ability to evaluate patrons at aquatics facilities to determine any potential dangers or hazards
Ability to adjust programs as necessary to ensure the safety of the visitors and other staff
Ability to effectively manage patron behavior and implement positive discipline techniques
Experience or willingness to learn program facilitation and activity leadership
The ability to work in varying weather conditions (heat, sun, light rain)
Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds
