Ability to read, write, and communicate in English
Physical requirements include frequent lifting up to 25 lbs., occasional lifting up to 50 lbs.; For instances when an employee is required to lift more than 50 lbs they must work in teams of two or use the proper equipment and tools for the job/task at hand
Ability to walk and stand for at least 2 hours or more; exposure to loud noise, dust, chemicals, etc.

Certification as an Optometric Technician (COA or COT) is a plus
Proficiency with electronic health records (EHR) systems
Previous experience as an optometric technician or in a similar role preferred
Strong understanding of optometric procedures and equipment
Education/experience sufficient to conduct pre-tests and gather patient medical histories
Ability to conduct visual acuity testing and lensometry
