Heavy-Duty Diesel Mechanic
High school diploma or equivalent required
Minimum of 3 years' experience in heavy truck maintenance and repair, preferably in the waste industry
Valid driver's license (CDL preferred)
Strong knowledge of diesel engines, hydraulic systems, and diagnostic tools
DOT and company standards
Perform preventative maintenance and routine inspections on diesel trucks and hydraulic systems
Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues on heavy-duty equipment
Conduct DOT inspections and maintain accurate service records
Troubleshoot engine, transmission, brake, steering, and suspension systems
Order and replace parts as needed and maintain a clean, organized work area
Follow all company safety policies and OSHA/DOT regulations
