Must be mechanically inclined and able to fix stitching machines when they break down or need adjustments
Ability to adjust sewing techniques and stitch types
Ability to follow design schematics
Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks
Understanding of how to operate various industrial and commercial sewing machines
Ability to inspect machines, adjust tension settings, thread needles, change bobbins, oil moving parts, and perform basic repairs to prevent workflow interruptions
Troubleshoot minor problems and perform basic preventative maintenance

High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
College degree preferred.
MS Office (Excel) experience.
Ability to add and subtract two digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10's and 100's.
Ability to perform operations using units of American money and weight measurement, volume, and distance.
Able to prepare reports and business correspondence.
Effectively communicate information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
Working knowledge of Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations.
Must adhere to hours of service and weight laws and regulations.
Must maintain compliance with Department of Transportation (DOT) and other applicable regulations.
Maintains Roadnet system.
