Base pay generally between $20.00 and $25.25

Walk over various terrains and weather conditions while carrying tools and equipment

Safely use weight-bearing equipment (up to 345 lbs) and lift up to 75 lbs

Climb ladders up to 32 feet

Work in confined spaces and at heights

Operate and navigate a company vehicle in changing environments

Travel to and from assigned customer premises, company facilities and other locations as necessary

Effective communication, professionalism, time management, organization, critical thinking, responsibility and reliability

Field Technician progression from Field Technician I to Field Technician IV with 10% increases for each progression level

Associates degree from a junior college or technical school; and four years related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Familiarity with Met/Team, Met/Cal, Calibration procedure development and Measurement Uncertainty.

Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals; write routine reports and correspondence.

Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization; work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, and fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry; apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations; apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form; deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
