Valid Real ID
Minimum of 3 years of commercial, institutional, industrial, or healthcare electrical experience
Experience installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical distribution systems, wiring, panels, circuits, and electrical equipment
Knowledge of single-phase and three-phase electrical systems and power distribution
Experience troubleshooting electrical systems using industry-standard testing and diagnostic equipment
Ability to read and interpret electrical blueprints, wiring diagrams, schematics, and technical documentation
Knowledge of electrical calculations including voltage, current, resistance, power factor, and voltage drop
Familiarity with electronic components such as resistors, capacitors, and transistors
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds frequently and 75 pounds occasionally
Ability to work on ladders, at elevated heights, and in confined spaces
Ability to work in hot environments and around energized equipment, machinery, dust, chemicals, oils, fumes, and other occupational hazards
Ability to stand, bend, kneel, and perform physically demanding work for extended periods
Ability to wear an OSHA-approved respirator when required and successfully complete required fit testing
Ability to wear required personal protective equipment (PPE), including steel-toe boots, eye protection, hearing protection, and approved face protection
OSHA 30-Hour Construction certification preferred
Must be able to successfully pass a drug test and a thorough background check for access onto a military installation
Background check for this position extends past 7 years, in conformance with federal law and US Department of Justice guidelines for work on a military installation
