Minimum 3 years of experience as an Aluminum Welder

Fundamental knowledge in marine or manufacturing industry
Proficiency in MIG and/or TIG aluminum welding
Knowledge of aluminum alloys commonly used in shipbuilding (e.g., 5083, 5086, 6061)
Ability to produce quality work with minimum to no rework
Excellent math skills with the ability to read a tape measure accurately
Understanding of welding distortion control and heat input management
This position is located on-site at our Bayou La Batre, AL shipyard
