High school diploma or GED required

Strong mechanical aptitude with working knowledge of electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems
Ability to read technical manuals, schematics, and equipment documentation
Comfortable working in a physically demanding industrial environment including outdoor exposure, dust, noise, and varying temperatures
Basic understanding of hydraulics
Basic understanding of pneumatics
Basic understanding of conveyor and auger systems
Basic understanding of power tools
Basic understanding of overhead cranes
Basic understanding of welding and fabrication
Basic understanding of SMAW
Basic understanding of GMAW
Basic understanding of plasma torch
Basic understanding of oxy/acetylene cutting
Basic understanding of wheeled vehicle repair and operation (including yard tractors, forklifts, aerial lifts, skid steers, and wheel loaders)
Able to operate heavy equipment; i.e., forklifts, bobcats, aerial lifts, cranes and yard tractors (trucks)
Ability to troubleshoot minor electrical issues and repair
Ability to understand and follow direction
Ability to read and understand parts diagrams in order to assemble/disassemble miscellaneous equipment
Ability to work independently

Computer skills. Experience using CMMS/IFS
Basic understanding of lockout/tagout (LO/TO) procedures
Basic understanding of Hot work permit procedures
Basic understanding of Confined space procedures
Starting rate for the position is $24 to $31.50 per hour depending on background and qualifications.
Increase potential at 120 days and 1 year, totaling an additional $3 to $4 / hour.
