Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Facilities Management, Environmental Health and Safety, Construction Management, or a related technical field
In lieu of degree: High School Diploma/ GED AND 25+ years of directly relevant experience in industrial or research facility operations
10+ years of experience in an industrial, research, or technical facility environment
Demonstrated experience managing facility operations, budgets, and project execution
History of successful partnership with technical or research teams in a complex facility environment
Experience managing contractors and vendors through a full project lifecycle
Strong knowledge of facilities maintenance, project execution, and building/industrial systems
Solid understanding of EHS requirements including OSHA, NFPA, and applicable EPA and state regulations
Demonstrated technical aptitude working on large and complex equipment including air compressors, combustion equipment, and utility systems
Ability to interpret engineering drawings and translate requirements to field construction
Strong budget management and financial accountability
