Flexible scheduling

Hours of operation are Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM ET.

A minimum of 20 hours per week

Certification runs for 10 days, Monday-Friday, from 10:00 AM – 6:30 PM ET

You'll need a quiet, dedicated workspace

Access to high-speed, hardwired internet (no Wi-Fi or Satellite, please)

A PC with Windows 11 (Macs and Chromebooks are not supported at this time)

At least 8GB of RAM, with at least 4GB available for use

Each independent contractor services a minimum of 20 hours per week

At least one year of experience in a call center customer service environment is preferred

Medical office, pharmacy, or non-clinical medical experience is very helpful

Use of mathematics together with the use of charts, tables, various types of measuring instruments and scales.

Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.

Ability to interpret basic technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form.

While performing the duties of this job, the associate is regularly required to stand, walk, use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear. The associate is occasionally required to sit, climb or balance, stoop, kneel, and crouch. The associate must regularly lift and/or move up to 30 pounds. The associate may, in rare occasions lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.

Part Time

Both full and part time opportunities

Part time Federal Express Corporation (FEC) employees work one shift a day; full time Federal Express Corporation (FEC) employees work two shifts.

Shift lengths vary based on package volume – generally part time employees work between 3 and 6 hours a day. Full time employees can expect to work between 6 and 10 hours.

Strong working knowledge of the department's operations, equipment, tools, and safety procedures.

Demonstrated leadership ability, including experience guiding, mentoring, or training team members.

Proficiency in using enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems or production tracking software, including M2M.

Ability to operate a laptop or computer to generate reports, review open orders, and manage production information.

Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, production workflow, and departmental quality standards.

Strong mechanical or technical aptitude relevant to the assigned department.

Knowledge of workplace safety procedures and proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).

Physical ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and perform tasks associated with departmental operations.

Ability to lift up to 100 lbs.

Previous experience serving as a Work Leader, Lead Operator, or similar leadership position in a manufacturing environment.

Experience working in metal fabrication or industrial manufacturing operations.

Familiarity with M2M software, production scheduling, and work order management.

Experience training employees and supporting on-the-job training (OJT) programs.

Knowledge of continuous improvement practices, production performance metrics, and workflow optimization.

Experience coordinating production activities across multiple workstations or manufacturing cells.
