Understanding of HIPAA, Federal, State and CARF standards and regulations.

Excellent documentation and computer skills required.

Knowledge of local community drug trends, the effects on the body and cognitive functioning of drugs of abuse, signs and symptoms of narcotic overdose, psychosocial implications of addictive disease, the process of addiction and treatment, social service, economic, legal, and medical systems, HIV transmission-health, behavioral, and emotional implications of addiction.

Knowledge of Code of Pharmacy Regulations in the State where assigned

Satisfactory drug screen and criminal background check.

8AM - 5PM Monday-Friday

Full Time

Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) certification is required.

BLS required.

High School Diploma or Equivalent Preferred.

1 year of medical office experience preferred.

The hourly pay for this role will range from $16.00 to $29.00 per hour

Active and unrestricted Pharmacy Technician license in the state of Louisiana

1+ years of previous Retail Pharmacy Technician experience within the last 5 years

Access to reliable transportation

Candidates are required to pass a drug test before beginning employment.

National Pharmacy Technician Certification

$1360 per week

7:00 AM - 7:00 PM

Every other weekend shifts.

On call when census is low.

Licensed Vocational Nurse / Licensed Practical Nurse

12 months of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.

12 months of Medical Surgical Unit experience with 9 months within the last 12 months.

9 months of acute care experience with 9 months within the last 12 months.

Candidates must have a Louisiana license or compact license (required for submission).

Travel only, local not allowed.

Candidates must live >50 miles from facility to be submitted.

Staff, Part-Time, and Per Diem employees currently working at this health system cannot be submitted.

1 Charge/Lead/Supervisor reference required from within the last 12 months

Driver's license required

BLS (Basic Life Support)

ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)

NIHSS (NIH Stroke Scale)

IV Therapy Certification (Intravenous Therapy Certification)

3 months of Meditech experience is preferred.
