CNC Lathe machines
Ability to read and understand blueprints and route instructions
Apply expertise in Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T)
Troubleshoot programs and make necessary adjustments
Follow in-process part inspection protocols and report non-conformance issues
Coordinate with superintendents, managers, production control, and quality personnel
Work safely and consistently wear required PPE throughout the shift
Record and document issues for a seamless shift transition
Perform daily maintenance checks and document findings
Knowledge of calipers, gauges, and other required measuring tools
Strong proficiency in basic math
Ability to accurately document machining procedures
Familiarity with metals, part-holding fixtures, and lathe/mill tooling
Experience with Okuma, Mazak, and Mori lathe machines (preferred)
Basic oral communication skills and the ability to read, comprehend, and complete logs and reports in English
Ability to handle heavy items, including lifting, pushing, pulling, and positioning components
Availability to work scheduled hours and adhere to all company policies, including timekeeping
Ability to work in a non-climate-controlled shop environment and stand for an entire shift
Strong understanding of machining practices, materials, and general mechanical principles
Willingness to be trained and a desire to learn new skills
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
Dependable with a strong work ethic and a positive attitude
Must report daily to the branch to perform each essential duty satisfactorily
