Minimum of 5-10 years of experience in quality, supplier quality, metrology, optical inspection, or precision manufacturing.
Proven leadership experience of at least 3-5 years in a quality management or supervisory role.
Strong understanding of ISO quality systems, auditing practices, corrective actions, and internal quality procedures.
Hands-on experience with advanced metrology tools (interferometers, profilometers, OGP systems, CMMs, etc.).
Ability to read, interpret, and validate optical and traditional mechanical blueprints; strong GD&T; familiarity.
Experience performing incoming, in-process, and final inspections, including FAIs and source inspections.
Demonstrated ability to manage supplier quality, customer interface activities, and external audits.
Strong organizational, documentation, and decision-making skills with exceptional attention to detail.
Experience working in optical, ultra-precision, CNC, diamond turning, or similar high-accuracy manufacturing environments preferred.
Ability to work independently, prioritize assignments, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Proficiency with relevant computer applications: MS Office, MS Outlook, and quality data/reporting tools.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to collaborate effectively across Engineering, Manufacturing, and Quality teams.
Willingness to travel up to 20% for supplier and customer audits.
Must have strong attention to detail.
