At least 10 years of experience in CNC programming, setup, and operation.
Extensive experience within the aerospace or defense industry.
In-depth familiarity with AS9100 standards and their application in manufacturing.
Proficiency in developing and optimizing CNC programs using CAM software and machine controls.
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and GD&T.;
Demonstrated ability to select and design tooling, fixtures, work holding, feeds, and speeds.
Proven experience performing complete machine setups and first-piece prove-outs.
Expertise in machining precision components while maintaining tight tolerances.
Proficiency in using precision measuring instruments, including micrometers, calipers, bore gauges, indicators, height gauges, and thread gauges.
Expert-level CNC programming and machining capability suitable for managing overflow and complex work.
Experience performing first article and in-process inspections in an aerospace or defense environment.
