10+ total years of Quality Engineering experience in a manufacturing environment.
Extensive experience with root cause and corrective action methodologies, including 5 Whys and fishbone analysis.
Demonstrated experience interacting directly with customers and suppliers on quality-related matters.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and schematics.
Aerospace or other highly regulated industry experience.
Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Mechanical Engineering, Quality, or a related field; equivalent experience considered.
5+ years of progressive Quality experience, including supervisory or management responsibilities.
5+ years of manufacturing experience, preferably in aerospace or a similarly regulated environment.
Working knowledge of auditing practices and standards, including internal and external audits.
Proficiency with statistical process control (SPC) and quality metrics.
Practical experience with Six Sigma and Lean Manufacturing methodologies.
Familiarity with Self-Directed Work Teams (SDWT) and Certified Operator Programs.
Experience with Product Review Board (PRB) processes.
