Minimum of 2 years of quality experience within the food industry.
Degree in a science-related discipline (such as food science, microbiology, chemistry, or a related field).
Hands-on experience with quality control and quality assurance testing in a laboratory or production environment.
Working knowledge of HACCP principles and their application in a food manufacturing setting.
Familiarity with SQF or similar food safety certification schemes.
Demonstrated leadership ability, including the capacity to influence peers and support training initiatives.
Experience with QC testing methods and laboratory procedures for food and beverage products.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in recording and interpreting test results.
Ability to identify non-conforming product and follow established procedures to manage and document it.
Solid communication skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams in production and quality.
Experience working within a structured food safety management system, including HACCP and SQF programs.
Exposure to PCQI concepts and preventive controls for human food.
Experience in laboratory-based quality control testing for beverages or similar products.
Experience supporting or participating in internal and external quality or food safety audits.
Ability to contribute to training efforts related to food safety, quality procedures, and best practices.
Interest in career growth within a rapidly expanding quality assurance team.
