Ability to stand and walk continuously for extended periods (10 hours or more per day). Frequent physical mobility including standing, walking, bending, twisting, stooping, kneeling, squatting, and reaching with hands and arms to access products and equipment.
Capability to perform physical maneuvering during troubleshooting, including occasional crawling, balancing, or climbing, as well as working at heights up to 20 feet on raised platforms or ladders.
Ability to regularly lift and/or move materials up to 35 pounds and occasionally lift or move up to 60 pounds, which may require assistance for heavier items.
Must have excellent visual acuity, including close vision, color vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus to read technical drawings and perform detailed component inspection/fine manipulation. Requires frequent use of hands and fingers for fine manipulation, hand-eye coordination, and operating precision measuring and testing equipment.
Ability to work in a manufacturing and/or laboratory environment, with exposure to moving mechanical parts, fumes, airborne particles, moderate noise, vibration, varying temperatures (including extreme heat), and must be able to wear and utilize all required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
GED or High School Diploma
PC-DMIS Certification Level 1 & 2 (****Min qualification to be no less than Level 1 PCDMIS with 4 years working experience.)
Proficiency in laser scanning, touch probe, and camera-based measurement systems.
Minimum of 2 years of job-related experience in a Metrology and/or manufacturing or quality role is required (Reflects inclusion of Metrology Programmer Level 1)
Proficiency in reading, interpreting, and applying GD&T; specifications, blueprints, engineering schematics, and technical drawings.
Skilled in standard measurement techniques using precision tools, such as micrometers and calipers
Flexibility to work non-standard hours, including weekends and overtime, as needed to accommodate production demands and new product launches.
Technical & Computer Proficiency: Fluent in Google Workspace, MS Excel, MS Word, Creo, AutoCAD, PolyWorks, Windchill, and QC-CALC / Gauge software.
