High school diploma or equivalent is required
A trade school certificate or specialized education in machining is preferred
Previous experience operating CNC and/or manual machinery is highly valued but not required for entry-level applicants
Experience with equipment such as CNC 3-axis, 5-axis, machining, grinding, milling, surface grinding, creep feed grinding
Strong mechanical aptitude and excellent manual dexterity
Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, technical documents, and work instructions
Intermediate mathematical skills for measurement, testing, and problem-solving
Solid critical thinking skills with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve manufacturing issues
Ability to work effectively both independently with minimal supervision and collaboratively within a team
Excellent attention to detail, ensuring work is consistently precise
Basic computer skills, including experience with Microsoft Outlook
Strong verbal and written communication skills in English
Certifications: Relevant machining certifications are required as specified by equipment manufacturers
This position may require work hours outside of the regularly scheduled hours to meet operational needs. This may include work during evenings, weekends, and/or holidays. Additional work hours are assigned based on business requirements
Non-exempt employees will be paid overtime in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws
The salary range for this position reflects a broad spectrum of experience levels. Individual compensation within the range is determined by multiple factors, including relevant experience, education, certifications, job related skills, internal equity, and market conditions.
