The expected pay rate is $27.00 - $42.00/hour determined based on a skill assessment.

Four years experience which provides knowledge of: Working on parts which require holding to exacting tolerances when necessary, determine trim lines from blueprints or templates. Aircraft sheet metal hand finishing, bending, forming, using routers, circular saws power brakes to form, pierce, contour, or straighten metal parts and power rolls to contour sheet metal extrusions, and structural tubing. Run, program and set up, numerically controlled brakes, water jets, slip roll, rotary shapers, hydro press, punch press and, to perform and operation within their capacity to cut, shape and drill flat and formed sheet metal and extrusion stock. Makes minor adjustments when the machines perform improperly. Documented heat treat experience with familiarity of processes such as annealing, normalizing, quenching, check and straightening. Completion of a high-quality industrial-based machine shop training program which is typically 800-1600 training hours in duration would offset six months of the four-year requirement.

Employee must be able to read and interpret detail and assembly blueprints and understand heat treat specifications and nomenclature.

Mechanic I - Wknd Nights

Requires on-call support.

Available to work a set schedule that may be changed by management based on the facility's needs.

Available to work morning, afternoon, night, or weekends depending on shift and overtime based on the facility's needs.

Possess a valid state driver's license

2 years of experience in your specialty area

Combination of experience and/or technical training in electrical/electronic theory ranging up to 600 volts systems (or willingness to obtain proper training within 1 year of employment)

Minimally must be able to lift 25 pounds; up to 70 pounds.

Must be able to work safely with corrosive materials and at heights of 20+ feet.

If required by local regulations, certified to perform work at the Maintenance Mechanic level (such as electrical work in the state of Oregon)

Proven record of following safety requirements

The salary range represented is based on similar roles in comparable industries, and the cost of labor in respective cities. Actual compensation is based on the candidate's relevant experience, education requirements and peer pay equity.

Minimum of five years job-related experience required.

Ability to operate scissor or boom lifts and work from heights. (30 to 50ft)

Ability to work safe and utilize LOTO during repairs.

Must comply with disposal of DOT regulated items where required.

Basic computer literacy (Excel/Word) required.

Must obtain MSC license to drive warehouse vehicles within specified time requirements. (Pertains only to candidates applying for positions at the Atlanta CFC)

Knowledge and experience working with 480V, 3 phase systems. Troubleshooting control panels servicing conveyor equipment.

Experience performing mechanical repairs involving bearings, chains, sprockets, gearboxes and motors. Ability to repair hydraulic and pneumatic components as well.

Sitting, standing, walking, lifting materials (maximum 75 pounds - individual or team lift), carrying, pushing, pulling, climbing stairs, climbing ladders, balancing, stooping, kneeling. Must be able to wear personal protective equipment. Must be able to operate at heights up to 50 feet.

Experience and knowledge with Fortna system and/or Hydrol Conveyors. Familiarity with Fortna Controller and HMI system.

(For Forklift Technicians only) Two or more years working knowledge of electrical, mechanical and systems diagnostics related and pertaining to material handling equipment and various PIT equipment (primarily Raymond, Crown & Hyster).
