All newly graduated Registered Nurses with less than 12 months of practice experience, hired into a scheduled FTE Registered Nurse position are automatically enrolled in the Nurse Residency Program.

Registered Nurse

Student or Graduate of a registered nursing program.

All entry-level associate degree registered nurses with a RN start date of April 1, 2020 and after must provide documented evidence of program completion of a baccalaureate degree in nursing program within five years from the last day of the month of the RN start date.

Current MN RN License

BLS (Basic Life Support) for Health Care Providers required from one of the following programs:​ 1\. American Heart Association 2\. American Red Cross

Successful sponsorship will require state licensure and completion of the VisaScreen or equivalent certification.

One year of RN experience in an applicable care setting or one year of LPN experience at Mayo Clinic is preferred.

$27.75 - $48.00

LPN Wage Range: $27.75 to $36.00

LPN or RN

Graduate from an accredited practical nursing program as a Licensed Practical Nurse.

If position requires IV therapy/management skills, the following is required in North Dakota: graduation from a Board approved AASPN program where IV therapy is part of the curriculum or completion of an IV Therapy course approved by the North Dakota Board of Nursing.

Must have attended a pre-licensure nursing program that included supervised clinical experience across the life span as part of the curriculum or have had a minimum of 400 hours of experience as LPN at another facility.

Must be a Licensed RN or LPN in Minnesota

Currently holds an unencumbered Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license with State Nursing board and/or possess multi-state licensure privileges.

An accepted offer will require a drug screen and pre-employment background screening as a condition of employment.

Associate degree in practical nursing is preferred.

Obtains and subsequently maintains required department specific competencies and certifications.

Completes required annual continuing education units (CEU) and competency training requirements of the department and facility.
