Master's Degree in Engineering and 8+ years of relevant experience
Current DoD Security Clearance
Certification for Earned Value Management System (EVMS) project management techniques
The use of commercially available schedule tools and application of those tools within EVMS is a plus
Design of Electro-optic, EO/IR, and/or laser technologies
Designing-To cost (DTUPC) constraints, designing for manufacturability
Possess solid technical leadership practices for Agile multi-site, multi-disciplinary engineering teams engaged in the design and development of state-of-the-art electro-optical products
Proven experience formulating a vision and implementing action plans to achieve goals
Experience implementing an established Hardware Engineering design processes to achieve product quality and consistency
Possesses sound interpersonal communication skills involving interfacing with company personnel, customers, and suppliers
Experience supporting new business capture and proposal teams with development of hardware engineering cost/schedule estimates
Capable of exercising independent discretion and judgment in the performance of engineering duties, including identifying and managing risks and opportunities
Capable of utilizing computer skills to prepare appropriate reports, documents, and presentations for internal/external distribution
Ability to develop and implement design solutions, processes, and systems within budget and schedule requirements
Experience with design and develop of products and services using state-of-the-art engineering technologies, principles, theories and concepts
