Minimum of 6 months of structured cabling experience OR completion of a telecommunications/cabling trade school program.

Experience pulling and terminating Cat5e/Cat6 cable.

Understanding of low-voltage installation best practices.

Reliable transportation.

This position requires regular: * Standing, walking, climbing, bending, kneeling, crawling, and stooping. * Use of hands and arms for handling tools, equipment, and materials. * Use of power tools and installation equipment. * Lifting and carrying materials up to 50 pounds. * Working in active construction environments while maintaining safety standards.

Candidates must have the following PPE before starting: * Hard hat with chin strap * Safety glasses * High-visibility safety vest * Steel-toed boots

Experience testing copper or fiber optic cabling.

Experience working on commercial construction sites.

Familiarity with telecommunications rooms, server rooms, and network infrastructure installations.

Level 1 technicians may acquire tools during their first few weeks on the project; however, the following tools will ultimately be required: * Tool pouch * Pencil, pen, or Sharpie * Utility knife/box cutter * Wire strippers * Punch-down tool (66 and 110 block) * Flashlight or headlamp * 10-in-1 screwdriver * Security bit screwdriver * 9" magnetic torpedo level * Hammer * Channel lock pliers * 25' tape measure * Diagonal side cutters * Long nose pliers * Drywall saw * Low-voltage snips

Hours of operation are Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM ET.

Certification runs for 10 days, Monday-Friday, from 10:00 AM – 6:30 PM ET
