This position is full-time Monday - Friday.

Employees are required to have flexibility to work any of our 8-hour shift schedules during our normal business hours of 8am - 5pm PST. Based on business needs, employees may also be required to work outside of these hours and include weekend shifts

The hours during training will be during normal business hours.

High School Diploma / GED

Must be 18 years of age OR older

3+ years of experience working in Health Information Management setting

2+ years of experience working as a team lead, supervisor, or manager in a healthcare setting

Ability to travel up to 25% to other facilities in Bakersfield, CA, as needed

Ability to work onsite at Mercy Medical Center, 2740 M St Merced, CA 95340

Ability to work our normal business hours of 8:00am - 5:00pm PST, Monday - Friday. Based on business needs, employees may also be required to work outside of these hours and include weekend shifts

Candidates are required to pass a drug test before beginning employment.

RHIT or RHIA certifications

Experience supervising employees
