Active Secret (T3) security clearance required
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Marine Engineering, or a related technical discipline from an ABET-accredited institution
Minimum of three (3) years of documented experience designing, optimizing, and integrating marine auxiliary and piping systems
Minimum of three (3) years of experience performing ship machinery integration and cargo and weight handling systems analyses
Familiarity with American Bureau of Shipping (ABS), U.S. Navy (USN), and commercial industry standards applicable to shipboard auxiliary systems
Knowledge of marine auxiliary systems, piping systems, ship machinery integration, cargo handling systems, and weight handling systems
Ability to conduct engineering analyses, perform trade studies, and develop technical documentation
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and technical writing skills
Ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary engineering teams and communicate technical information to government and contractor personnel
Proficient in Microsoft Office software suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Experience supporting federal shipbuilding or boatbuilding acquisition programs is preferred
Experience supporting DoD ACAT I or DHS Level I shipbuilding programs is preferred
