With SolidWorks and/or AutoCAD experience.

Minimum 5 years of CAD design and detailing experience.

Sheet metal design expertise including bend allowances, K-factors, material thicknesses, and flat pattern development.

Knowledge of aluminum, stainless steel, carbon steel, and their fabrication characteristics.

Advanced CAD software knowledge.

Expertise in creating highly detailed technical drawings, including: o Accurate dimensioning and annotations. o Application of industry-specific symbols and conventions. o Creation of assembly drawings and exploded views. o Development of bills of materials and manufacturing documentation.

Strong understanding of engineering fundamentals including: o Structural design principles. o Material selection and performance. o Load analysis and component integration.

Strong grasp of drafting principles including orthographic projections, section views, tolerancing, and scaling.

Ability to read and interpret complex engineering drawings, specifications, and customer requirements.

Knowledge of ISO, ASME, and AWS drawing and fabrication standards.

Experience designing fire apparatus, truck bodies, heavy equipment, custom vehicles, or similar fabricated products preferred.

Familiarity with carbide drills, end mills, inserted cutters, and boring tooling

Experience machining ferrous and non-ferrous materials

Experience using Faro CMM or advanced metrology equipment

$30.29 - $43.18 per hour, commensurate with experience (Overtime opportunity available)

1st Shift - Monday through Friday, 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM

You must be familiar with manual and CNC lathe and mill operations.

Mechanical related Associates degree or 3+ years of experience in an industrial manufacturing setting.

Minimum 2 years of machining experience, including setup, and operation of machines.

Proficiency in reading and interpreting engineering drawings.

Ability to use precision measuring instruments.

Legal authorization to work in the United States.

Must understand material hardness, cutting tools, speeds and feeds, coolant requirements and machining techniques.

Interpret geometric dimensioning and tolerances (GD&T;) per part drawings.

Minimum 5 years of full-cycle machining experience, including programming, setup, and operation of machines.

Must be able to safely ascend, descend, and work from ladders in accordance with Company safety procedures. This position requires the use of ladders with a maximum manufacturer-rated capacity of 375 pounds, including the user's body weight and any tools or equipment.

Full-Time

8–10 hour shift

Familiarity with machining processes including CNC milling, turning, stamping presses, electrical discharge machining (EDM), and welding techniques.

Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to read blueprints accurately and interpret GD&T; (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing).

Experience with quality inspection tools such as micrometers, calipers, dial indicators, and other precision measuring instruments.

Basic math skills necessary for calculating dimensions, tolerances, and material requirements.

Must pass a pre-employment screening

Ability to wear all required PPE for the position

Ability to stand and walk throughout an 8–10 hour shift

Ability to work indoors or outdoors in year-round weather, including rain

Ability to lift and carry 50 lbs routinely and up to 75 lbs occasionally while utilizing all proper lifting procedures and practices

Frequent stooping, bending, reaching, pushing, and pulling

Prior experience operating CNC laser cutting machines or similar fabrication equipment is highly desirable.

Knowledge of CNC programming languages (such as G-code) and CAD/CAM software is preferred.

Hands-on experience with hand tools, fabrication techniques, tooling setup, sheet metal handling, and assembly is advantageous.

Ability to operate material handling equipment such as forklifts and cranes safely is a plus.
