Read, write, speak and comprehend English.
Add, subtract, multiply, divide and work with fractional measurements and decimals.
Set up, adjust, and operate all machine tools in your area of responsibility in order to produce various parts within specifications from blueprints.
Read and understand basic manufacturing mechanical blueprints, and use good basic math skills in addition, subtraction, division and multiplication.
Hold very close tolerances and surface finish requirements.
Working knowledge or ability to learn to use a micrometer, depth micrometer, dial indicators, and other precision measuring instruments.
A demonstrated history of good attendance and a safe work record.
A high school diploma or GED equivalent.
8+ years of manual machining working with manual engine lathes, VTL's, HBM's and surface grinders
Experience working with very tight tolerance of +/- .001.
The ability to read and interpret drawings, blueprints and other documents.
Proficiency with measuring equipment, such as calipers, gauges and micrometers.
Experience working with variety of materials such as carbon steel, stainless steel, hard coated components, and composite materials.
Current authorization to work in the country in which the position is located
