Comprehensive knowledge and hands-on experience with electrical hand tools and diagnostic test equipment
Ability to read and interpret building layouts, electrical system drawings, and manufacturers' equipment specifications
Working knowledge of National Electrical Code (NEC) and NFPA 70E electrical safety standards
Capability to read and comprehend technical instructions, correspondence, memos, and safety documentation
Ability to write clear and accurate correspondence and maintenance documentation
Willingness to participate in 24-hour on-call rotation and work flexible hours including early mornings, late nights, weekends, and holidays as operational needs require
Physical ability to stand, walk, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, and work in confined spaces while wearing appropriate personal protective equipment
Capacity to work in environments with exposure to high voltage equipment, moving mechanical parts, elevated locations, outdoor weather conditions, and risk of electrical shock
