Significant hands-on experience with mechanical installation, alignment, and commissioning of industrial compressors or rotating equipment in power generation, oil & gas, refining, or LNG environments.

Proven experience with precision alignment techniques and rotating equipment best practices.

Strong understanding of mechanical systems associated with compressors (foundations, piping interfaces, lubrication systems, couplings, seals, etc.).

Ability to work effectively on active construction/installation sites, including outdoor and industrial environments.

Willingness to work in Port Arthur, Texas area on customer LNG plant projects (project-based field assignment).

English proficiency required.

Minimum 10 years of progressive experience in heavy industrial construction, preferably in power generation, LNG, or oil and gas projects.

Laser alignment preferred

Direct experience on LNG liquefaction plants, gas processing facilities, or large process compressor installations.

Familiarity with gas turbine or centerline installation practices and balance-of-plant rotating equipment.

Prior supervisory or lead technician experience on installation or commissioning crews.

Relevant technical certifications or OEM training on compressors/rotating equipment.

Experience coordinating with multi-discipline teams (mechanical, piping, I&C;, commissioning)

Bachelor's degree in mechanical, electrical, or related engineering discipline preferred. Will consider years of experience in combination with education.

Expandable Baton training, defensive tactics training, firearms training, weapon qualification, and firearms retention training must be completed prior to letter of authorization to carry is issued

Successful completion of all pre-employment and post offer assessments to include the Minnesota Multiphasic Personality Inventory -2 (MMPI-2-RF-PCIR); the California Psychological Inventory (CPI); the Police and Public Safety Selection Report (PPSSR); the Personal Experience Inventory (PEI) and a clinical interview by a third personal psychologist

Will be required to take random drug test screening

Valid Driver's license required

Candidates must maintain an acceptable driving record to meet CHRISTUS Health standards for positions requiring driving. An unacceptable record includes, but is not limited to:

One or more moving violations within a 12-month period.

One or more chargeable accidents within a 12-month period. Chargeable means the driver is determined to be the primary cause of the accident.

Contributing factors such as weather or mechanical issues will be considered.

Any combination of accidents and/or moving violations.

Violations include any ticket, charge, or other law enforcement proceeding related to these, as well as independent evidence of violations deemed relevant by CHRISTUS Health Security.

Must hold an active Level 3 Commission with the Texas Department of Public Safety Private Security Bureau (TDPSPSB).

New hires who have completed the TDPSPSB security commission course must obtain their commission prior to hire.

If the license status is ACTIVE in TOPS and the pocket card has not yet been received, the licensee may begin working.

Until the pocket card is received, the licensee must carry proof of ACTIVE status (e.g., screenshot or printed copy from TOPS) while on duty.

Must be physically fit and able to walk all areas of the facilities and grounds, to restrain those who need restraint and be able to assist nursing staff with lifting patients of all sizes.

Demonstrated competence with handgun, hand cuffs, baton, non-crisis intervention certification and two-way radios.

Must have flexibility in hours and be able to rotate between facilities including travel whenever necessary.

Minimum two (2) years of armed security experience (may substituted by Honorable Military Service) preferred

Law enforcement experience preferred

Healthcare security experience preferred

Verbal De-escalation training must be completed within 60 days of hire

BLS required within 60 days of hire

Ability to read and interpret blueprints, machining instructions, and geometric tolerances.

Experience using precision measuring equipment such as micrometers, dial indicators, calipers, and depth gauges.

Two or more years of machining experience in a manufacturing or repair environment.

Five to seven years of relevant machining, maintenance, or precision manufacturing experience.

Experience operating manual lathes, milling machines, CNC lathes, or CNC mills.

Experience fabricating, modifying, or repairing mechanical components and industrial machinery.
