High School Diploma or GED required.

Minimum of 3 years of CNC machining experience.

Ability to read and interpret blueprints and understand GD&T; (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing).

Functional knowledge of G-Code and M-Code programming and ability to perform manual machining operations using lathes and mills.

Ability to work from written, oral, and graphical instructions, ability to manually lift up to 50 lbs. for short durations, with or without reasonable accommodation

Proven understanding of shop mathematics

Experience with precision measuring instruments and/or specialized occupation training

Ability to obtain fork truck and crane licenses through Siemens Energy's internal certification programs.

Ability to be away from home for long periods of time

Valid Driver's license and good driving record

Must have own tools
