Must have a bachelor's degree (or foreign equivalent) in Biochemistry or Chemistry
Plus two (2) years of experience in a related position
Two (2) years with each of the following: (i) preparing and applying liquid coating products utilizing spectrophotometers, including Xrite MA68, Xrite MA98, BYKMAC1, and MacBeth coloreye for color measurements; (ii) product development and quality control by performing paint sample tests, operating lab equipment, and troubleshooting issues; (iii) maintaining laboratory instruments; and (iv) preparing tests solutions and compounds pre reagents to conduct tests
Must have any experience with or knowledge of: (i) panel testing techniques, including Tukon hardness, Pencil hardness, Cross Hatch Adhesion, Pop & Sag evaluation, destructive testing, impact testing, and crater testing; (ii) GMP/GLP requirements, safety requirements, test methods, and SOPs; (iii) QC tool data lookup or similar; (iv) continuous improvement techniques including formula optimization process and problem solving process; and (v) continuous improvement events including Kaizen workshops
Experience can be concurrent
