A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
Three years of experience in a heavy equipment or hydraulic repair shop environment is required.
Knowledge of internal and external parts of hydraulic components, specifically hydraulic cylinders, how they work, how they operate, and proper testing procedures are required.
Competencies in the use of wrenches, air tools, torque wrenches, and hydraulically operated equipment are required.
Must have own set of mechanics tools
Lifting, carrying, and pulling up to 50 pounds.
Standing and sitting up, moving up and down stairs, and climbing into machines with be required.
Functions of the position require normal dexterity and repetitive and frequent movements that require hands, wrists, and fingers.
