Previous experience and demonstrated proficiency in operating CNC lathe, CNC mill machines, or resistance spot welder (any combination of two machines), with intermediate knowledge and experience with setting up machines.

Requires a high school education or equivalent experience.

Minimum of 2 years of related experience, and knowledge of machining principles and methods for computer numerical controlled machine tools required

Must be able to read and interpret work instructions and blueprints in English.

External candidates will be required to pass a Machinist test which measures mechanical aptitude.

$35.71 per hour

Must be knowledgeable of G-code programming language and various codes and writing programs from part drawing using off-line computer.

Ability to read engineering drawings.

Strong grasp of applied algebra, geometry, and trigonometry to calculate toolpaths, feeds, and speeds.

An understanding of metal behavior, heat tolerances, cutting tool selection, and fixture design.

Ability to work overtime, as required.

Technincal diploma preferred.
