For Radiology department, two routes are accepted: ARDMS: currently registered as a Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) or a student/new graduate eligible to sit for exam with the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS). ARDMS abdomen or OB/GYN registry required within 12 months of hire into classification
For Radiology department, ARRT: currently registered as a Registered Technologist (R.T.) with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT). Advanced certification in Sonography (R.T.(S)) required within 12 months of hire into classification
For either route (ARDMS or ARRT) in Radiology department, ARDMS Registered Vascular Technology (RVT), ARRT Vascular Sonography (VS) or Cardiovascular Credentialing International Registered Vascular Specialist (RVS) required within 24 months of hire into classification

Radiologic Technologist specializing in Radiography credentialed from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) obtained prior to or within 12 Months (1 year) of hire date.
Radiologic Technologist specializing in Sonography credentialed from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) obtained prior to or within 12 Months (1 year) of hire date.
Vascular Technologist (VT) credentialed from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) obtained prior to hire date.
Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) credentialed from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) obtained within 12 Months (1 year) of hire date.
High School Diploma or Equivalent with 2 years of experience or Associate's degree required.
Graduate of an accredited sonography program preferred.
