A.A. Degree, Machinist Certificate, or Machinist Associate Degree from a technical college/trade school; **OR**
* 6 months-1 year of related experience/training; **OR**
* An equivalent combination of education and experience.
Ability to read/interpret drawings, instructions, and technical documents.
Basic CNC programming skills (mills and lathes).
Ability to operate:
* CNC lathes & mills
* Manual mills & lathes
* Drill press
* Hand and air-powered tools
* Hoists and material-handling equipment
Computer literacy with the ability to use various software programs and make modifications when required.
Strong understanding of plane/solid geometry and trigonometry.
Ability to apply fractions, ratios, percentages, and practical math.
Regularly required to stand, reach, handle, and feel materials and tools.
Frequently walk, talk, and hear; occasionally stoop, kneel, or crouch.
Able to lift/move up to **50 lbs** and stand for **up to 10 hours** in a fast-paced environment.
Vision requirements include close vision, peripheral vision, and depth perception.
Exposure to chemicals such as metalworking fluids, cleaners, brake fluid, etc.
Loud environment-hearing protection required.
