High school diploma or GED required.
5+ years of experience in quality inspection or metrology in a manufacturing environment
Strong blueprint reading and GD&T; skills.
Proficient with standard mechanical inspection tools and gages.
Experience with electronic data collection, inspection records, and basic MS Office applications (Excel, Word, Outlook).
Ability to access controlled items and/or articles (Requires U.S. citizenship).
Ability to work in a shop/production environment around large metal components and machinery.
Ability to pass & maintain NDT & NAVSEA certifications
Ability to lift and move inspection equipment and parts up to 50 lbs as needed.
Standing, walking, and bending required during inspections.
Ability to work required second-shift hours and overtime as needed.
Ability to operate forklifts, cranes and various material handling equipment
