Must be able to pass a standard AWS test in the horizontal (2G) for 3/8 and vertical (3G), for structural steel in the size of 1.
Position requires the physical capability to perform welding work, moderate to heavy lifting.
Knowledge of steel and sheet metal fabrication and welding, specifically welding procedures and the operation of welding equipment.
Ability to read the welding requirements of fabrication drawings and travelers.
Ability to do minor fit-up to include meeting drawing requirements and dimensions.
Extended work hours and/or travel may occasionally be required.
Employee is frequently required to stand, walk, sit, crouch, bend and occasionally lift and/or move up to (40) pounds.
Must have a full range of body movements including the use of hands to fingers, handle or feel objects, climbing, bending, reaching, lifting, and walking.
Must have command of sight, hearing, and touch. Must have the ability to coordinate and communicate effectively with other personnel.
