Minimum of 3 years of recent phlebotomy experience, with strong proficiency in venipuncture.
Minimum of 2 years of work experience performing venipunctures in a fast-paced laboratory or hospital setting.
High level of proficiency with straight needles and the ability to perform venipunctures independently from the first day.
Demonstrated experience in specimen collection, including blood draws and venipuncture.
Ability to accurately label, handle, and process specimens, including centrifuging, splitting, and freezing as required.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite for basic documentation and communication tasks.
Experience working as a floater or in multiple clinical locations, adapting quickly to different workflows.
Basic familiarity with electronic systems for test requisitions, labels, and patient information updates.
Willingness to travel between sites in Queens, Brooklyn, Manhattan, and occasionally Staten Island, with mileage, tolls, and parking eligible for reimbursement.
