Prior experience as a provider of pre-hospital care in an emergency setting

VDL - Valid Drivers License

Verification of an acceptable motor vehicle driving record, at time of hire, with annual verification required thereafter.

EMT- P - Emergency Medical Technician-Paramedic

ACLS - EMS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support)

BLS - EMS (Basic Life Support)

Moderate word processing, database, presentation and spreadsheet skills required.

Basic email and internet skills required.

Ability to learn specific job related software applications.

Must maintain a high degree of academic and practical knowledge in emergency paramedicine, and must attend sufficient continuing education classes, courses and seminars both on and off duty to maintain annual paramedic certification, as required by the State of Massachusetts

High School diploma or equivalent

Critical care experience preferred/ALS transfers

PALS - Pediatric Advanced Life Support

NRP - Neonatal Resuscitation Program

Paid training - $500 a week from day one through your final week on the road

$125 holiday pay for New Year's Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, and Christmas

$40 for smoke & steel tarping and $50 for lumber tarping

Earn an additional 1% of load pay after one weekend out, 2% after two weekends, and up to 3% after three or more weekends on the road

$600 in-truck bonus when you receive your own truck, plus $1,000/week guaranteed pay during your first two weeks in your assigned truck

Paid travel to and from the training center, plus lodging during training

Paid training - $500 a week from day one through your final week on the road
