Full and Part Time Positions

Attend a 26-week paid training program to gain skills and certifications in emergency medical care, patient care, instructing medical training, medical equipment operations, patient transportation, and maintaining medical records.

Advanced certifications require additional full funded training programs.

US Citizenship is required.

Minimum of 1 year of experience in a Clinical Engineering or Biomedical Equipment program performing PM and CM on medical devices.

Ability to troubleshoot both hardware and software issues across multiple biomedical platforms.

Must satisfy all additional federal, VA, and facility-specific credentialing requirements.

Must be able to successfully pass a drug test and a thorough background check for access onto a military installation; please note the background check for this position extends past 7 years, in conformance with federal law and US Department of Justice guidelines for work on a military installation.

Certified Biomedical Equipment Technician (CBET) or Certified Radiology Equipment Specialist (CRES)

DoD Biomedical Training (AFSC 4A2X1, MOS 68A, NEC HM-8478/HM-8479/HM-8410)

Associate degree or higher in Biomedical Equipment Technology, Electronics, or Information Technology

Familiarity with medical equipment including:CareFusion Alaris systems (8015, 8100, 8110, 8120)Covidien Kangaroo ePumpPhilips and Welch Allyn vital signs monitorsBladder scanners (e.g., Verathon BVI 9400)

Knowledge of regulatory compliance standards (e.g., Joint Commission) and clinical documentation requirements.

Pay Range: USD $26.85 - USD $37.59 /Hr.
