The ideal candidate brings experience in defense, naval, or other highly regulated industries
Experience with military electrical standards, shipboard power systems, and customer-facing design reviews is highly desirable.
Proficiency with AutoCAD Electrical and OrCAD/Altium schematic capture tools.
Strong knowledge of control systems, power electronics, and wiring practices.
Ability to read, create, and interpret complex electrical schematics and wiring diagrams.
Experience developing and executing test plans and documenting results.
Experience selecting electrical and control system components based on technical, environmental, and regulatory requirements.
Understanding of industry and military shipboard electrical standards.
Experience designing, simulating, and prototyping electrical hardware and PCBAs for military equipment; MIL-E-917E and MIL-STD-461 experience preferred.
Exposure to PWM, PLL, and PID control methodologies.
Familiarity with C/C++ and MATLAB/Simulink.
Experience with Hardware in the Loop (HIL) testbeds.
Hands-on troubleshooting experience with high-voltage circuits.
